You could fight as the Viking warrior Axeldör; the fierce ranger Thyra or, Al-as-a-master of elements Hafgrim.) The characters each play differently, providing their own unique methods for traversing the apocalypse.

There are 9 maps inspired by a realm from Norse mythology, over 10 characters, each having their own skill set and weaponry; and a constellation-shaped skill tree used to upgrade character skills. Yggdrasil is a meta-progress tree which upgrades various aspects of the game to improve your journey.
