Going Medieval Overview

Going Medieval is a sim where you must construct a bastion upon the ruins of an ancient castle and furnish it as a defense for your clan. A major plague epidemic reduced the population by more than five times. Survivors discover many abandoned territories and strive to restart their lives rebuilding a new prosperous society. You, as a sovereign should give them not only a normal life but also save them from bandits, barbarians, and religious fanatics. There were riots, disarray, destruction, and lawlessness, wherever you turned it was chaos.

You will start by building little wooden huts, but the more materials you gather, the quicker your city will develop — evolving into a massive stone fortress. The Going Medieval toolkit will enable you to build multi-story buildings and dig out a subterranean maze. You’ll need to build defensive fortifications, arm your settlers with weapons, and set traps on the ground around your walls.

Better hunger and natural disasters than an invading army. Construction of stable houses and stockpiling supplies for your people for the season. In an empire, the people are the most valuable resource. If they could help travelers, take in random passersby and destitute beggars, etc. form it into a new society and lead it to prosperity!
